Who can take the exam?
Anyone who has completed the registration for Masters under any UGC approved University is eligible to apply for UGC-NTA NET JRF exam.

What's the upper age limit for applying?
There's no upper age limit for NET ( Assistant Professor) but for JRF, candidates should not have exceeded the age of 30 on the date specified in notification.
Is there a ceiling on number of chances?
Absolutely no ceiling on the attempts for NET, but only the age limit for JRF
Why some cut-off scores are in percentage while others are in percentile?
For a single session exam with fewer candidates, the cut off is expressed in percentage, but for subjects having multiple sessions like English (both FN and AN), the cut off will be in percentile

The first 6% of the top performers among each subjects will be eligible for NET, while the topmost 1% among this will be awarded JRF

Normally in June and December, but since Covid, there have been some changes of cycles getting clubbed,which everyone knows. From now on, UGC-NTA is trying to go back to the normal..

Which are the Test centres in Kerala and neighbouring States?
There are exam centres across major towns in each State.
What's the scheme of the examination? How many Papers are there in the Test?
There are two Papers, both containing MCQs. Paper 1 is General, containing 50 questions for 100 marks.Paper 2 consists of 100 MCQs for 200 marks. there's no negative mark for wrong answers.
What's the duration of the Test?
A composite time of 3 hours
Is there negative mark for wrong answers?
No. Attempt all questions.
How does NTA calculate the aggregate score?
NTA takes the aggregate score of both Papers to finalize the cut off marks for each category.
What's the national average of success rate in NET/JRF?
The national average of success rate is declared by NTA as the top 6% for NET and the topmost 1% for the award of JRF.

Radiance has an average success rate ranging between 35 and 40%.
Is there a limit on number of candidates admitted for a batch at Radiance?
Yes, We provide admission on a 'first come first served' basis, restricting the total to 60/batch
Is there a mechanism to check and see a candidates marked question booklet?
Yes. Each candidate can view their marked test booklet once the Provisional Answer Key is published.
Does NTA publish a Provisional Answer Key?
Yes, often published within 10 days after the exam.
Is there a provision for challenging the answers in the P.A.Key?
Yes, if a candidate feels the answers given in the P.A Key are wrong, she can challenge those answers by paying the requisite fee per question.
Does Radiance offer both Online and Classroom coaching?
Yes. We have both options.
What's the duration of coaching for a batch?
Generally, the duration is 5-6 months.
